A career built on high-impact projects

Assignment at We+, an IT services company supporting businesses in their software, cloud and data projects: designing an application that automatically turns a consultant's CV into a skills dossier in the company's format, replacing a manual layout process.

Responsibilities

• Architecture: hexagonal and Clean Architecture, split into modules (CV analysis, data structuring, dossier generation).

• Full stack development: Spring Boot back-end exposed through a documented REST API (OpenAPI), Angular interface and PostgreSQL data model.

• Applied AI: designed and iteratively refined extraction prompts, reusable skills and AI agents automating generation; development accelerated with Claude Code.

• Quality and delivery: unit and integration tests (JUnit, Mockito), containerisation with Docker and Docker Compose.

Transition period between signing a permanent contract with We+ and my start date, dedicated to upskilling in generative AI and software architecture through an end-to-end project: an online assessment platform that reads and grades exam papers with LLMs.

Responsibilities

• Scoping: market needs analysis, functional scope and mock-up of the user journeys.

• Architecture: microservices based on hexagonal architecture, Clean Architecture and DDD.

• Development: documented REST APIs, user interface, authentication and user management, first automated grading pipeline.

• Industrialisation: unit and integration tests, Docker containerisation, GitLab CI/CD and deployment; tracked in Jira, with Claude Code-assisted development.

Self-funded product project in a team of two: a project-management platform for non-technical managers (planning, task tracking, coordination), taken to a working prototype and then paused when I took a permanent position.

Responsibilities

• Architecture: Spring Boot back-end with two complementary front-ends: an Angular admin area and a lightweight React app for end users.

• Back-end and data: documented REST APIs (OpenAPI) and a PostgreSQL model combining native SQL and Hibernate/JPA.

• Security: Spring Security with JWT, OAuth2, refresh tokens and role-based access control (RBAC).

• DevOps and quality: Docker containerisation, Jenkins and GitLab CI/CD pipelines, development and demo environments, JUnit and Mockito tests.

Outcomes

• From idea to prototype: product taken from needs analysis to a deployed prototype.

• Automated delivery: end-to-end pipeline, from commit to deployable Docker image.

At software publisher Softimeo / Actimeo, development of SOFTI, the framework underpinning a range of electronic care-record (DUI) software for the medico-social sector (care homes, child welfare homes, associations, sports clubs): a multi-site solution handling sensitive data subject to GDPR. Team of 5 developers, Scrum and V-model.

Responsibilities

• Back-end and data: shared PostgreSQL database in native SQL (tables, views, functions, transactions), business logic and REST APIs.

• Security: role-based access control (RBAC) and per-site isolation, enforced down to the database level.

• Configuration: Designer tool adapting each product without custom development, plus Angular Manager and Client portals (RxJS).

• Data and operations: ETL import/export module (CSV, ODS) and deployment on a Linux server.

Outcomes

• Shared foundation: the framework became the base of a whole software range, deployed across several medico-social sectors.

• Easier data migration: faster onboarding of each new site.
